Poker – Online, Poker Stars, 888?

When joining these sites they offer free money.. but when buying.. chips? Can I actually win money, or does the money or chips I win stay in the network, or can I withdraw them if I’m good enough?
I don’t understand the concept and I can’t seem to find it on the site.

Play chips are worthless. You cannot withdraw them or anything.

Real money is real money. After you make a deposit, you can win more, lose it all, or withdraw it at any time.

Usually there is a bonus when you deposit real money. This “Bonus money” is unlocked by playing a certain amount of real money games or hands and earning frequent player points.

Frequent Player Points are earned by playing real money games. They sort of have a cash value, but cannot be directly withdrawn for money. You use them to buy things, which can be clothing, books, electronics, etc, or you can use them to buy into certain tournaments, or use them to buy Bonus money and sometimes cash bonuses.
